How to Make Text Vertical

Most people have come here wanting to learn how to make text vertical in their spreadsheet. This is pretty simple to do.

Here’s the easiest way:

  1. Click and highlight the cells that you want to make the text vertical for
  2. Navigate up to the top toolbar and select the Text Rotation Tool
  3. From here you have three options for vertical text: Stack Vertically, Rotate Up, and Rotate Down. We selected Stack Vertically in the example
