Whether you want to insert a blank page for printing purposes, or just create a new page to continue writing in—this is very easy to do.
In this tutorial, I will show you how to add a new page in Google Docs.
Adding a New Page
To add a new page in Google Docs:
1. Open your Google Doc, and select the spot in your file where you want the new page to appear
2. In the top menu select Insert
3. From the drop-down menu, select Break>Page break. Alternatively, you can also use the new page shortcut of pressing Ctrl + Enter on your keyboard
4. You should now see a blank page inserted into the spot that you selected in step 1
Closing Thoughts
Adding a blank page to your document is very simple. It’s done by adding a page break which can be done through the insert menu or with the keyboard shortcut.
This is only if you want to keep a blank page in your file.
If you actually intend to fill the page with text, Google Docs automatically creates a new page for you while you are typing. So you don’t have to worry about this if you are just wanting a new page to continue typing on.
